— White Sox 6, Braves 5 (10)
Braden Montgomery hit a walk-off HR in his first big league game.
Atlanta led 4-0 in the third inning.
White Sox have won 17 of their last 20 home games.

— A’s 7, Brewers 5
Monday night, the total here was 11, game ended 15-14.
This game, the total was up to 13.5; it stayed under.
Five different players homered for the A’s; they had seven on Monday.

— Monday night in Las Vegas, the home plate umpire wasn’t very good; 15 of his pitch calls were challenged, 11 of them were overturned. No bueno.

— Speaking of ABS challenges, Miami Marlins’ catchers/pitchers have challenged more pitches than any other team.

— Rays 4, Red Sox 3
Nick Martinez got thru seven innings on only 73 pitches.
Martinez is 6-2, 2.43 this season.
Boston is 6-13 against its AL East rivals.

— Tigers 10, Twins 4
Dillon Dingler homered twice, had four RBI.
Minnesota hit four solo homers in the first five innings.
Five Detroit relievers got the last 12 outs, giving up two hits, no runs.

— Carolina 5, Vegas 3
Jordan Staal scored two goals for the Hurricanes.
He is first player in 44 years to score a goal in Games 1-4 of a Final.
Stanley Cup finals are now tied, 2-2.
Game 5 is Thursday night at Carolina.

Good pitching duel between Zack Wheeler/Dylan Cease.
Blue Jays are 2015 at home, 13-20 on the road.

Dustin May allowed four hits in six shutout IP.
Ivan Herrera got on base five times, scored three runs.
Freddy Peralta is struggling; he is 4-5, 4.04 this season.

— Rockies 7, Cubs 3
Colorado led 7-0 in the third inning.
Loss snaps Rockies’ four-game losing skid.
Edouard Julien was 2-for 4, had three RBI

— Royals 5, Rangers 3
Jax Caglianone went 3-for-3, with two home runs.
Trailing 2-1, Royals scored four runs in the sixth inning.
Kansas City has won five of its last six games.
