— Oregon Ducks basketball coach Dana Altman quit Wednesday, less than a month before the start of the season. Practice started a while ago; Ducks are playing Montana November 2nd, but now Tony Stubblefield is Oregon’s interim coach.
Altman coached the Ducks for 16 years, with a 382-182 record. His career record is 792-425 in 37 seasons as a head coach.
— Philadelphia Eagles C Cam Jurgens got traded to Baltimore Wednesday.
Ravens sent a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round spick to the Eagles in exchange for Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-rounder.
Eagles RT Lane Johnson retired Monday, so they’ve lost two starters from their offensive line after getting shut out 31-0 in second half of their last two games.
Baltimore has had three centers go on injured reserve already this year, which is why they delay a 2nd round pick for Jurgens.
— Minnesota Vikings signed WR Odell Beckham Jr to their practice squad; WR’s Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison are both banged up. There is a chance Beckham will play for the Vikings Sunday in New Orleans.
