— Some unexpected good news, very good news; an investment fund led by billionaire Mark Cuban is buying a minority stake in the A’s. It signals a bet on the sports market in Las Vegas, where the A’s are moving in 2028.

Imagine having an owner who will try to win games??? This is excellent!!!

Trevor Larnach had the game-winning hit for Minnesota. 

In 4th inning, Gavin Williams struck out three guys on nine pitches.
Cleveland led 1-0 after seven innings.

— Indiana Hoosiers signed QB recruit Lukas Prock, beating out Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida for the highly-rated recruit. Wow.

— Kansas City Chiefs are going to build a $3B domed stadium that will be modeled after their current stadium— it s scheduled to open in 2031. 

Skylar Thompson and rookie Joe Fagnano will compete to be the Ravens’ 3rd-string QB.

— Brown University is going to hire Stanford assistant Eric Reveno as its new basketball coach; Reveno was head coach at Portland for 10 years; from 2008-11, his Pilots went 60-35, 26-16 in WCC games.
