Early is on the IL now with a minor elbow injury; he is 7-5, 3.44 in 17 starts this season.

Mead is from Australia, which means nothing, but it is interesting.
November 20, 2019……Mead was traded by the Phillies to Tampa Bay, for Cristopher Sanchez. Nationals can only hope Early turns out nearly as good as Sanchez has been.
